“The magic happens when artists come together and create something none of them could have made alone.” I don’t know who said this but i am trying to find out – it might be anonymous… Whoever it is, they said exactly how Im feeling this week. The sum is greater than the whole. And you are an incredible, bright, shiny sum. If you’re anything like me you spend a lot of your week in your head. debating endlessly. disagreeing with yourself about everything barely a positive word to say to or about you. lonely lonely lonely. uncertainty, worry and restlessness. Then you talk to someone who gets it, and just like that you find yourself no longer alone. but with company energised stronger braver go. This is how I feel when I’m talking to you. When we’re chatting irl, your ideas – your replies to these emails, your friendship zaps me out of my head, and into a place of hope, possibility and drive. So, I want to help you do this more often. And this is what Office Hours is all about I am bored of being in my head – I want to talk and listen to you. Office hours is a chance for us to chat about anything that is on your mind. It can be about your work, it can be about my work it can be questions on how to become an audiobook producer, agent strategy, things to do with being an early parent and an actor, it can be about shark phobias, it can be just a catchup. It can be anything you want it to be – I am here for it. This is how it works: HERE IS THE LINK TO MY CALENDAR
Please don’t go through whatever you are going through alone. I am here. Let’s do a time and we will hang like there is no tomorrow. You are fucking incredible and I can’t wait to see you. A x here’s what I watched this week:Super 8 (finished) Back to the future 3 (found it on iplayer) Superman Human (doc – iplayer) Butch Cassidy and the sundance kid South Park Shaun of the Dead
