I’m going to see a show tomorrow:
i struggle with most theatre these days
i get impatient, my mind drifts easily, and I want to leave before the interval.
these guys are the anti-thesis of the expensive, celebrity driven theatre that dominates the cultural landscape
The venues they traverse are unexpected
Nothing is staged
and they play.
They have no idea what’s about to happen, and neither do you.
they train rigorously in the weeks and months preceding
then they go at each other.
Alive and dangerous.
if you don’t know The Factory
There is nothing quite like them.
if you’re happy with dead theatre, this is not for you.
I’ll be in the audience tomorrow, Wednesday 27th 7pm.
